I left early in the morning to cat ch the local bus to Lake Bled. I had heard this was not to be missed and its so true. I hiked up the hill to take photos of the church surrounded by the lake. Its absolutely beautiful here. I spent the whole day hiking, admiring the cute cottages and watching the swans. I met a man who carves boats out of oak trees in various designs. He said he gets his inspitaion from nature. He was at peace. There is something special about communing with nature. [View Full Entry]

I was wandering around the old town of Ljubljana when it started to rain. I decided to have lunch at this beautiful hotel called the Slon. It continued to rain. I ordered some tea and was people watching when this man sat down at the table next to me. I made it to Munich for opening day! I had a blast! There was hords of people everywhere! People dancing on tables. There were 14-20 different beer houses with hundreds of tables. German bands playing toons and people singing and dancing. I can't wait to upload my photos. I met people from all over the globe. I don't drink beer so I didn't partake in the festivities. It was freezing cold (remember I'm from So. Cal. =) ) and rainy in Prague qwhen I arrived. The city looked dark and gloomy. The outer skirts of the old city felt scary. I had booked 4 nights but could have easily seen all of Prague in two days. I spent most of my time people watching in cafes. I did go on a city tour of the city nd visited the beautiful castle. Hi Everyone! I was planning on going to Romania to see Dracula's castle. After talking with a couple of guys I met from Romania, I've decided to go to Prague instead. I had such a fabulous time in Budapest. I made some great friends. I spent a lot of time with Rachel from Seattle. We went to the Turkish Baths and had a very pampering day. I met more Americans in Budapest than anywhere else on this journey. I met Jeff from Huntington Beach, California. This was so funny. Jeff and I were talking about California when he casually mentioned he had organized a dinner at a Moroccan restaurant for a travel network group we both belonged to. Hey Everyone! It was time for me to get on the road again. I was starting feel stagnet. I had a very relaxing time in Jelsa. I found the tranquility and solitude I had been searching for. I decided to pack up and go to Hungary. I arrived yesterday. Its very beautiful here. While on the train, I met Rachel from Washington. We are having a blast! As always I had a great time with Flo! We rode bikes, swam in the sea, cooked healthy meals, reflected on life, taught the men how to BBQ ( that was hysterical =>), and spent time with her parents. I love them! Once Flo left to return to Paris, I rented a place from the nicest people. Everyday when I would return from the sea, there would be fresh flowers by my bed.
