Southern California - Wilcox, Arizona Today was the first day of my road trip. Needless to say it was an adventure. => I picked up my rental car early in the morning and was enjoying the day. I had hoped to be in Tucson, Az by mid afternoon. I stopped in Chiriaco ( one hour outside of Blythe, Ca,) when I locked the keys in the car. All I could do was laugh. I realized I had time. I am in no hurry and have no set schedule. Everything happens for a reason. I met some incredibly nice people because [View Full Entry]

Every second Thursday of each month, Los Angeles hosts its Downtown Art walk. The local art galleries stay open later and display their new art work. There are street vendors playing live music. Many of the art galleries have Djs and sell wine and cocktails. If you don't want to walk the 4 or 5 streets there is a retro schoolbus that will shuttle you around for free. Its a great night of cheap entertainment. You get a real feel for the people and culture of LA. The Green Truck provides awesome vegan and organic vegetarian food. You can find [View Full Entry]

Hey Everyone! Thank you so much for the warm welcome home. I have received numerous phone calls, texts, and emails. I have heard from friends I haven't talked to in years. Its great and very appreciated. I am so blessed to have you as my friends and family. I love you all! I had only been home two days and already had jumped back into my routine. I was back to walking four miles a day and eating healthy organic meals. I immediately went to my storage unit to collect my everyday, non- travel attire. My feet missed high heels. We took a public bus from Tangier to Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen is nestled in the Rif Mountains. It has a very romantic and bohemian ambience. You will find artists and craftsmen everywhere. There are also quite a lot of pleaces to trek in the mountains. I did not trek however, because I was freezing cold. Being from Southern California, I have a very hard time acclamating to the cold. I was more than happy wandering through the medina, visiting the museum, chatting with the locals, and drinking hot Moroccan Mint tea. This village is so cute and everyone is so kind. We traveled by train to Tangier from Rabat. We all were a little let down by Tangier. It is very busy and you are hassled quite a bit. We all ventured out together to explore the Medina and search out the Kasbah. We were asked by nearly everyone we saw if we needed a guide. Everyone claims to be a guide and of course they all know their way around the Kasbah. We decided we could handle it on our own. It was great fun! We were completely lost several times but always found our way. We wanderd the medievil [View Full Entry]

We roamed the Medina. The Medina was filled with amazing aroamas. The food is so vibrant almost as vibrant as the people. We went to the Kasbah des Oudaia. The views were amazing. The Kasbah reminded me a little of Mykonos Island, in Greece. The blue and white homes stand out so beautifully. We all had a great time exploring! [View Full Entry]

While on my flight from Barcelona to Casabanca I struck up a conversation with Sandrine from France. Her boyfriend lived in Casablanca. They had been dating for 2 years. We talked of how difficult it is to have long distance relationships. I myself had had a few long distance relationships with men in other countries over the years. This had worked for me in the past, my work schedule was so intense that I did not have time for a full time relationship. ( I now see where my priorities were way out of wack!) She was hoping to move [View Full Entry]
