Chefchaouen is nestled in the Rif Mountains. It has a very romantic and bohemian ambience. You will find artists and craftsmen everywhere. There are also quite a lot of pleaces to trek in the mountains. I did not trek however because I was freezing cold. Being from Southern California I have a very hard time acclamating to the cold. A Day of Discovery I had one day to explore Lisbon so I bought a ticket for the day tour of the city. I recommend this tour especially if you are short on time. It was very informative and you could hop on and off at anytime. I then wandered up to the castle on my own. It wasn't far from my hostel. The views were amazing Lisbon is a beautiful city. It comes alive at night. A local saw me and walked me to the door of my hostel. she was so kind. I spent a week in Lagos. I absolutely loved it. It is amazingly beautiful and so peaceful here. I came perfect time of year. I wandered around the seaside. There are amazing views from all over the city. I also went to a wine tatsing at the Calmel Winery. The oldest winery in existence in Porto. I flew from Dubrovnik to Barcelona and from Barcelona to Lisbon. It was a very long day. Once I was in Lisbon I wandered aimlessly around the city. I had bought a bus ticket to Porto for the following day. I had planned on going to Porto Lagos and spending a couple days in Lisbon before I headed off to Morocco. I spent most of the day climbing the steep and narrow steps of the village within the fortress. There were some amazing views. You find such simplicity in their lifestyle.
