Since having my Italian citizenship recognized, I bought a house there where I spend several months each year and hope to retire in 2 years and operate the home as a B&B for American visitors. The most beautiful city
Love reading your blogs Jean. We went to Quebec City years ago in December, it was Christmas wonderland, just how you see it on old fashioned Christmas cards, absolutely beautiful. I want to see it in the autumn but don’t want to change the first memories I have of the City. You are making me restless! Trish

We're with you Jean. Pristine islands are lovely, but get out and talk to the locals wherever you are. I sound like Rick Steves :-) Pet the animals (then wash your hands). More germs in an airplane seat!

You travel a lot Connie and like me, have seen it all in the way people react to things. Even on the "pristine" disneyish beach in Half Moon Cay, there were some people telling their children to stay away from the germy baby chicks...geez...

Those poor donkeys, especially the pregnant one needed nourishment. The driver said they would eat anything and if we had potato chips they would eat those. I'm sure they would but how unhealthy! LOL Better Cope's granola bars.
