Namaste! (Hello in Hindi) We've arrived in Manali, after a 14hr bus ride -which wasn't as bad as it might sound hehe. The scenery here is amazing! Manali is such a colourful little town, located within the moutains. The air is a lot fresher here too. Since we've arrived, we've been going shopping, practising our haggling skills, practicing our Hindi and Nepali (our hotel staff is all Nepali), drinking Chai, trying to plan our route (which keeps changing hehe), and trying out different curries. Hello Everyone, Today, we went to meet some students on the college campus, at Kamla Nagaar. We'd met Jojo&friends at the Wongdhen house restaurant, who are all students in Dehli and we got invited to one of their gigs. The band's called 'Wild Fire Tribe', and they were wanting to raise funds for a charity. So, we went to the gig which took place at a Coffee Day (starbuck style coffee place). Hi everyone, Minke & I arrived in Delhi on the 9th, after a very long trip, but we're both so happy to be here :) We're staying in the Tibetan quarter, nicknamec mini-kathmandu and called Majnu-ka-Tilla, amongst the buddhist monks, tibetans and other backpackers. The air is so hot and stuffy, and smells of curry and spices. And everything is so colourful and chaotic. We went for a ride on a cycle rickshaw, but won't be doing it again.
