This is a comment. - From: Tales from the birthplace of Farrokh Bulsara (look it up)
Hey so no joke I knew exactly who you were talking about. Farrokh Bulsara aka Queen's Freddy Mercury. I knew I had read somewhere that he was from Zanzibar and I thought, well no one else famous could be from Zanzibar.

Bloody Sand - From: Bippi Marafiki
Yeah, the Sand gets EVERYWHERE (even places I'd rather not mention) but luckily my camera survived and even more lucky the dollar store watch I bought here (named superwatch) survived as well.

Info regarding IVHQ - From: Bippi Marafiki
Hi my name is sydney spain. Im considering going to Tanzania through IVHQ. If I am correct you are there and went through IVHQ. Im doing some research on the organization before signing up and all. Any information or experiences you have with them would be greatly appriciated. I just want to make sure IVHQ is credible and Im not going to find myself stranded in Africa. Also if you have any info regarding how you got your visa and what not I would really appriciate that. Thanks. sydney spain

hi! - From: Bippi Marafiki
hey Adam!! I thought this is a good opportunity to say hello and let you know I've enjoyed reading up on your adventure as a teacher in Tanzania. Ironically enough: I was just talking to my friend and her aunt last night at Easter dinner about Zanzibar beaches. I have yet to see any, but they were saying they've never seen sand like that in Zanzibar. it's like flour and apparently on some beaches you are not to bring cameras or watches because if the sand gets in, it's pretty much impossible to get out. as I wrote that I realized I should have probably said hello before you went to Zanzibar in order to give you the heads up...so I'll guess and wait to see how your camera and watch faired in the next posting. cheers to non-blinding alcohol!! Glad you made it!!!! - From: Jambo from Tanzania (no I'm not dead)
Hey. so I'm writing just North of you from Monaco. We are loving it here, much warmer than Amsterdam and equally or more cool in that old neat architecture and royalty way. Jon keeps on telling me possible moves he would try from Assassins Creed ( we think they based the game on this place) and proceeds to try out climbing buildings or spotting towers to escape to. We also went to the Oceanagraphic institute and it is amazing- kinda Steve Zisou meets Sea World. I want to live in the building, it has amazing architecture and old world charm, Jon made me leave....err it was closing. I hope you are having fun teaching. Who knows maybe we'll switch jobs. Love Megg and Jon.

Hey Adbad Berad Hillsbee!! lol, wow! What a mouthful!! Yes, yes, yes, yes, "that's what she said"! haha, beat you to it but just barely I'm sure! The hostel looks surprisingly nice, I guess I expected it to be more beat up and those guys in large muffler hats standing in front of it. Boy was I wrong! lol! Is the inside always that dark? The dorms are rather cozy looking, kind of reminds me of the tented rooms at New Asian Village! And are you saying no one cooks in this town b/c there's so much food in the aisle or that there was no one in the grocery shopping? A little clarities Berad, that's all I ask! lol! Love you, Sinbad P.S. Tell Sive I say "hey, hey, hey!" ;)
