The day we visited it the visibility was very good we could see 50 miles in the distance. The Moorish fortress is even higher and should offer a greater view of the countryside. The town has two entrance known as Cordoba and Seville gates. We parked the van by Cordoba gate and went on exploring http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Andalusia/Seville/blog-360775.html AndaluciaCordobba CordobaWe visited the great mosque in Spanish called Mezquita. it was built in 712AD yes 712AD. Itrsquos the biggest mosque in the world since and still is. The brochure says it has 1000 colossal pillars and I would have believed if it says 10000.Unfortunately the Christians Catholics have destroyed the original artworks to transform it into a Cathedral. Irsquom not sure they succeed http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Andalusia/C-rdoba/blog-360766.html AndalusiaGranada Granada 200km.Not a long drive and an easy and enjoyable one. The plan is to spend 2 days et 3 nights in Grenada. We arrived in the afternoon so we stayed in the van. As usual Linda tackled some washingdrying etc.. I spent the afternoon setting up Sat TV repairing bikes and reorganising the garage. The next morning we took the bus to visit Alhambra palace built by the moors some 1100 years ago wh http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Andalusia/Granada/blog-360762.html AndalusiaAlmeria Friday 14th NovIsla Plana Camping Los DelfinesMAZARRonMazarron is definitely a little corner from heaven on earth. If ever there is a place I would like to retire to it would be it. Linda shares my feeling on this little gem.. It has 6 perfect half moon bays with clean sandy beach The centre of town oozes with style the marinas is more of a small port where most boats are of the fishingsaili http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Andalusia/Almer-a/blog-360754.html Valencia CambrilsSalouCambrils is a small little town with the beach as the main attraction.
