I went to one museum today - a very big museum kelvindale museum. It has everything from the stuffed elephant to Monet and rembrant originals. My favourite exhibits were the animals of Scotland and all about Glasgow. So really I did learn a lot today! I'm enjoying a pint of strongbow in the hostel bar and may go out with one of my roommates tonight. I had my first fish and chips in the museum cafe. First, I would like to introduce you to three truths about me when I travel that have come up today. 1. My Hair is Crazy -- you may not realize this in Canada where I can straighten it/actually have time to see how it looks ... no such luxury here. Well. I am Exhausted! Today was an awesome day! I woke up and had the English Breakfast offered on special at the hostel. I was a good thing I ate a lot for breakfast because little did I know how long it would take to walk to the tower (of course with my patented detour). AND I made it back to the hostel in one piece! The theatre was so beautiful. It was neat because you didn't actually have to leave the theatre to go get a drink or go to the washroom during intermission. Spring Awakening was amazing. I'm really glad I saw it in London because all the rock songs had a very British rock flair to the feel and to the choreography and I love British rock. The set was phenomenal! Hello all! I am now in London. It is raining, but that's not going to stop be from going out on an adventure tonight! I bought a ticket for Spring Awakening. I got floor seats for £20 off! So excited! The rest of my day will therefore be spent 1. finding the theatre; 2. finding a place to eat and 3. remembering how to get back afterwards.
