America is a bit disappointing - From: A day to venture around the city I agree about the coffee thing...except in Peru, everyone drinks instant coffee!! Columbia, where coffee beans flow in rivers of milk and honey, is right across the border, but people prefer the covenience of stirring coffee powder into their hot water. |

That would definitely cause Mom to come home early....or build her own starbucks. The park sounds fun...watch out for the monkeys - I know they like to fling poop on passer byers. I'm glad the museum was fun but the 3 hour bus ride sounds horrendous. Did you sleep the whole time? |

We stayed in a hotel near the beach and some guy tried to break in our window one night. Pretty weird. But it still is a gorgeous place to visit! Looks like you had fun! |

When I was there last, I was trying to catch up with the ASBC crew that was staying with AJ & Barb. I didn't have a car, so the only way to do it was by bus. I had rode out to where I was staying on a bus guided by a local, and even he got confused a little. So, I didn't end up going for it and just stayed at the camp. |
