Intriguing . . .! Intrigued to see a peahen like bird at this ancient site across the world. These ruins and the various sculptures fascinate me. Brings to mind Eric Von Daniken's thesis about these buildings being records of early man's interaction with advanced alien civilizations from other galaxies . . . (Ref: Chariots of the Gods, In Search of Ancient Gods, etc.)
Lucky Man ! Dan,
What a decision, what a life !! You are truly fortunate. Thanks a ton for sharing your experiences. Makes for uniquely delightful reading !!
Best wishes for more and more travel, and more and more writing . . .
Paul
Touch the Stars!! Whoa!! diving at night. I didn't even know you knew how to scuba dive. You are a man of constant surprises. No wonder you have a hard time staying in one place. Would that I were 50 again, I'd try it. Love, M
Straight & Simple Thank you Dan ! The pictures convey so much - the simplicity and the innocence. The snippets about the bus ride, and the unsent love letters express so much more than just the words you have written. You have chosen a lifestyle that is immensely rich, fascinatingly free, and full of discovery. These posts are anchors in a reality that has been increasingly obscured by the mundane and the meaningless. Keep travelling Dan. Keep writing, and keep sharing.
Nicaragua looks great. Wish I could join you. We are experiencing cold weather (40-55) here and not much rain yet. We have only the ski resorts open that can make their won snow, however, rumor has it rains are due tomorrow and for a long time.
49ers won their playoff against the Saints and next Sunday take on the NY Giants. Unbeliveable. Love ya, MOM XXXXXX
Emery Wow!! Costa Rica looks great. Can't wait to get there in March. As for Emery, she can come stay with me any time and (if she must) her parents also. Beautiful child.
Wonderful Pics! So happy to see these lovely pics of the Jr. Bunts. Love that they are with you and that they have such great friends all over the world!
It all looks wonderful and very relaxing. I hope you are enjoying South America. I guess you will probable not be in Costa Rica when Deb and I arrive in March. W
e'll track you and maybe we can still hook up. Love ya, MOM
