Madhya Pradesh 3 May 2004 Mandu, India "bye-bye" (in a sing-song tone!) what a strange greeting, but...welcoming for a change! it reminded me the Sabiadee of Lao. crossed into Madhya Pradesh state couple of days ago. 1st thing I notice was the feature of some Indians here, they are more look like Eastern European or the central Asian, with light color skin and eye ball. Mandu was the place I choose to 1st visit, a small village on top of a deserted hill, once the capital of the Malwa Empire around the 14th century, a lot of Mughal style architectures, mosque ruins could still be seen in the area, and of course...together with the bye-bye greeting, mandu could easily became one of my favorite place in India. not many tourist came here, perhaps there will be ... read more

Perhaps a typical answer...I like it and I hate it! But it was quite true. Do I like it here??? Try to got an early bus to Kochin, but people just kept telling me the 11:40 bus is the best bus....the Best Bus?? In India?? free again 7 Mar 2004 Finally….resume to my India trip tomorrow! Even my wound isn’t heal completely(guess it will take another week), I just don’t want to waste time sitting around like this. home 30 Dec 2003 hongkong, China home again!!! started my long wait for the burnt wound to heal. looking back for the last 3 weeks...what a waste...spend money for nothing! what had I got for X'mas present...probably an ugly scare on my leg! a piece of news today said a small underground casino had been set on fire by revenge. nine people had been seriously burn, the pictures show the wounds of the victims. eee.....mine was just nothing!!! the weather is a big different from Bangkok. coming out from the airport last night and I could see people in heavy jacket. time in Thailand (1) 16 Dec 2003 clash into Yamamoto san place after I arrived in Bangkok. he took real care of me. took me to the India embassy the next day and travel agent, here and there, which bus to China town, which bus to KaoShan road...great! thing dosen't went smoothly I guess...! first the visa fee went up to B2100 from B1700, when the embassy man told me the price...I said what...!?!? and he point to the wall next to me where an A4 paper stick there said...B400 more for non Thai resident...!!!...in a small size printing! ok...you got me and I hand in my bhat and been told to come back after 4 days with a little piece of paper which said 19th Dec at 09:30am! and about the plane ticket...which gone up ... read more

new treatment 5 Nov 2003 how do I feel??? of course...a little different from before since I knew I will not go back to YY afterward. new set of code numbers to memorise...door code...code to enter the building(mine and my brother building)...new credit card number...new phone number(home and mobil)...but still...dosen't have time to think about anything yet, 1st thing 1st...arrange to meet the doctor from my insurance agent. in MongKok I went yesterday for my 1st medical treatment. different atmosphere, clean and tidy room. a doctor Cheung clinic with many certificate hung on the walls insit the office, so and so degree honor in London...Edinburg...HK university etc...!! he came back to this clinic by 16:50 because he had another clinic in CausewayBay and also few hours in the hosipital in between time...busy man!!! a small clinic ... read more
