I had,, the time of my life!!!!!!!!!!!
Every Aussie needs to expierience the outback,especially birdsville races and of course the international yabbie races at windorah. words cannot describe the incredible time I had and the amazing people i have met. Its now weeks since I got home and I am still on a high from it. I have made many new friends ,some of wich I know will be lifelong friends. i simply cannot wait till next years races and to catch up again with all the outback characters I met.

Aiden I'm just after having such a laugh at this blog...I'll be honest with ya, I don't read them all, but dip in and out..I see a book in the pipeline!!! I was actually imagining Dad driving by your house and coming home with the story that the Kenny's are all after losing the plot, and he wouldn't mind except they were grand people!!! Sounds like your having a ball, I'm soooooo happy for ya (sarcastic tone), actually, I'm soooo jealous!!! Ok, back to the books here for me....x P.S. Grand Slam celebrations in Edinburgh were amazing...my liver wasn't that happy about it though!!!

Hi Aidan, Well I can only have a minor boast in comparison to you and your big adventure but I'll give it a go anyway!!! I finished up work this evening and am heading to southern France/northern Spain on hols on Friday, yippee can't wait for some sunshine or some "not rain" would be good enough at this stage! Aidan, it all sounds so good. Althought the heat in Rathmines this summer reminds me of an Asian summer!! I am getting tired of 35 degrees everyday!! It all sound good out there and to say I am jealous is an understatement.

hi there aidan, had to laugh at ur observation that chinese women look extremely young.. well here's something for u to laugh at: was in black bull the other night (i"m here in ire as u might have guessed) ordered a pint of bulmers and this YOUNG (not even sure he was old enough himself to work in a pub!!!) asks me for ID. never ever happened to me before.. thought he was taking the piss but he would not serve me until i produced my drivers license which stated i was almost 30!!!!!! was depressed after that. got pissed. anyway sounds like u"re having a fab time .. so jealous.. but i"m looking after ur country while ur away so no need to worry about good old ire..

A traveler of Asia myself, I was actually looking for a shire wallpaper when I stumbled on this photo. Nice shot! Half convinces me of hopping over to Malaysia myself. So much green! Not much of that in my current destination. I guess the lack thereof has led to me reminiscing of the Shire, haha.
