G'day from Oz G'day Mark and Sally finally worked out this computer , sounds like a great trip . Have a great time and ride on. Maybe to Australia next time. Will keep tuned in to your adventure Mick
Great pictures of Ontario, we loved it too, such wonderful scenery. We never got to Thunder Bay as it had started snowing when we got to Wawa and so we turned back to Toronto. Hope the weather improves for you soon - the cold bright days in the fall are absolutely stunning when the colours start in the maples.
your trip Sally- best of luck- makes a change from surrey lanes on a serow--- will love to hear your tales etc on your return- it will make a great talk, or series of talks at club night---you are booked! -- but you have stolen my thunder here- this is a trip I have planned too, my family live in Vancouver, and I have been plotting this ride for years, just wating for the roght time work-wise etc-- - but have not yet done it- I plan to do it on my old BMW R75/5 however, or even my R69S, whichever is best when I do go, which I will do one day--- but go well, best of luck, if you need an address to stay in Vancouver, e-mail me- cheers, brian cohen.
up to 11th August! As usual Sally, I'm behind!!! Have only just been able to start reading your blogs (I'm ashamed to say!), but!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! I am in awe of your skills - descriptive writing, fab photos, time-finding!! Thankyou SO much: I am almost enjoying the holiday as much as you - AND with no mossies to worry about! Still to read on to catch you up, but just HAD to send comment. xxx
Hope you enjoyed your trip I'm from HVGB and i believe i may have noticed you guys around town. My honest thought was that you guys were crazy cuz i knew you came in over the road lol i hope all went well and safely, even in a 4-wheeled vehicle that drive can be tricky and potentially expensive or dangerous.
Black Flies I met black flies for the first time in Newfoundland last year, nasty fellas aren't they. Glad you managed alright on the gravel roads, you will have arms like a navvie when you get home. I must admit that this part of your trip was the only part I was worried about, if you survive Labrador the rest should be a doddle. No moose yet?!
It seems like yesterday we were enjoying the scenery of Gros Morne National Park, hard to believe it was a year ago - glad you are having a good time, thanks for the birthday wishes xx

Seen a bear what ? Hadn’t realised that a mossie and a moosie were so similar, all I can say is its a good job moosies don’t fly!
