When someone does a good job, you should just say Thank You! and pass it on. That is what I'm doing with my sisters weekend report. My sister Christi Waite does such a good job at taking and posting pictures, I figure the best way to share is to pass it on. Here is her creative website http://christicreativecrew.blogspot.com. In 2007, Pastor Rich and Lynette traveled to Israel as host of a group of 30 people from Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. It became apparent during this time from Pastor Rich’s evening lectures that his knowledge of not only the Scriptures, but also Israel’s history and land greatly enhanced the experience of those who participated in the trip. It is because of this that during our 2009 Israel trip, we plan to take a video crew along to document these special events and places. We will be recording Pastor Rich as he talks to us on the Sea of Galilee and [View Full Entry]

One Monday we had a boys day an a girls day. The boys went fishing and us girls did some shopping and lunch. Naomi said that her blankie was a girl so it could come too. Tuesday we headed to Grand Lake Baptist Camp in New Brunswick. Brad and Mel spent one night and then headed back to Rochester. Rich spoke on "Living Under Gentile Rule" and "So You Really Want to Follow Jesus." We headed back to Halifax after the Friday evening service so we could fly back home on Saturday. The trip didn't go exactly as planned, but we [View Full Entry]

Phase II started off with a trip to the Library for "A Teddy Bear Picnic." The kids loved to puppets, books and movie. It was a good way to get them out of the house while their parents packed for their trip. Less tears too! Jeremy has a load of wood chips delivered to their driveway in hopes that we would have time to work on the yard. However, the rain prohibited that somewhat, but the kids enjoyed "making volcano's" even in the rain. Because of the rain we also took a trip to McDonald's sound proof indoor play room. It's been quite a week with 14 people in one house - 6 under 6 years old. But it was good to be together. We were able to get to the harbor for the tall ship festival, eat fish and chips at the Eastern Passage and buy lobster for $4.99 a pound for a fun family meal. Yesterday we were able to get some family picture and then today we said good bye to Jason, Sara and Maggie as they had to head back to North Carolina. Tomorrow starts phase two with Jeremy and Sara Jo, Brad and Mel going to [View Full Entry]
