It is my last night in the city. The city is beautiful and has lots of colonial structures...I am a little bumbed that everyone is not having dinner together as I would hope. But I would recommend this trip to anyone wishing to relax..the beaches the people...the cultures...and not so much the food. I will head back to like with a bigger view of the simple life. To know that some people have so little but love so much is amazing to me...to know that if you want something you can simply have a different version of the same thing but as it soothes your life is amazing to me...I am happy to believe that there are good people out their...the people in Costa Rica are nice...I will be back ... read more

I am now in Bocas Del Toro. It is some islands off the coast of Panama in which most locals speak english. Most of the people here look like Caribbean ppl...(I know technically the islands are in the caribbean sea...). But it is amazing. It is like a cultural shift on this end. Soca music was everywhere...Caribbean food...and did I mention the guys...But on a cultural note..the people are like most other Caribbean countries..the diversity is really nice and the food is the best so far...I ate at a "chinese caribbean" place for dinner last night...and It was the best chinese food in the history of foods...it reminded me of Trinidad. The water also reminds me of home...the water is really clear...but the worst part is the rain..how can a girl look cute with mud and ... read more

ok...so this trip is fine...I think I will definitely go alone everywhere else I travel and not prepay for a tour guide. ...lol...I am making friends with the indiginous locals...as the ones that look like me are all about the European tourist...lol..The country is very poor but beautiful...It has alot of galvanized structures and the people seems to love one another but the differences between races may exist...and it is primarilly between the indigenous and everyone else...There is absolutely nothing to see in Panama city...;(..(Btw the keyboards are different here so this is taking forever!!!!)...I would definitely recommend it as a place to visit but it is primarily filled with old couples who are retired and coming for the "adventure"...there are huge structures that are residential places..where as the government buildings are small...lol...did I mention that ... read more
