streets - From: HKok
Oll Korrect! The place is huge and packed in tight like ice cubes in a tray. So very huge and also quite large. Streets are narrow, and sometimes they are like the one in the pic with steps, so those ones aren't for driving, but a lot of others can be driven on. I don't think they drive on that street in Lan Kwai Fong, that's all walkers and wheelchairs. So where do they drive? On the left!

My history lesson: - From: Love Milk
AnAnping Fort: Rich colonial history, possible future flashpoint Nearly three centuries ago, the Dutch stormed the shores of Taiwan and seized a military bastion near the beach in Tainan as their command center. They called this place “Fort Zeelandia,” (n-!) and put the finishing touches on it in 1634, replete with mounted cannons, high brick walls, and a lookout tower to keep an eye out for aboriginal or Taiwanese insurgents. Long after the gunpowder plumes and cannon blasts have settled into history, what we have inherited today is a lovely park shaded with enormous, gnarled banyan trees reminiscent of those found in Angkor Wat — almost — and bullet-chipped brick walls surrounding a museum-like fortress.......TOO BAD for the DUTCH, they could have had a DUTCH WONDERLAND!!!!!!!

Buddy would have loved to seen that bruce lee statue.......(famous bruce lee quote..."Man-I told you its secret chink stuff".-1993 the dragon).....Where's King Kong????Was it beauty that killed the beast??????

FL - From: ...bìng qiě rú guǒ wǒ yāo wǒ kě yǐ chī jī ròu sān míng zhì
similarities to florida abound. those "snails" i mentioned were like sea-snails. i dont know if they are really called snails. haven't seen any slugs either. i've seen a lizard indoors just crawling around, the only difference is that it was a lighter color, closer to sand. i also saw a really big flying cockroach thing. icky.
