We arrivved in Mui Ne on a sleeper bus, even though it was during the day, but it was nice and comfortable and we managed to sleep alot of the way!! We are lazy!
The planned because there wasnt much to do, unless you like kite surfing. We wanted to spend more days in Nha Trang as there was loads we wanted to do there. We hired a moto bike the next day and went to the Sand dunes there were 2 different sand dunes one red and one white, they were very impressive but the the white ones more so!! Adam hired a peice of plastic so he could sledge down the white sand dunes, after slidding down a feweather was very cloudy and windy when we got there, we strolled round looking for somewhere to stay for about half and hour and a little old lady she looked about 100years old, shouted us across the road and pointed to some little bungalows at the back of her house, they were really nice but she wanted $20 a night we said no too much and she said ok $10 bargain!! We had loads of laundry to do so we bagged
it up and went to look for somewhere, the little old lady who couldnt speak a word of english basically pulled the plastic bags out of our hands, we didnt really want to give them to her as we have had some really rubbish laundry done at guest houses, but we didnt have much of a choice!! Later that day we saw her round the back scrubbing away at our clothes!!
We wondered around exploring that day and had a few beers that night, but decided we werent going to stay as long as we orignally w times and trying to climb back up we called it a day and went to see the red sand dunes!!
We collected the laundry that evening and it was the BEST laundry we had, had done, it smelt great whites were spottless!!
The next day we got the bus to Nha Trang, another sleeper bus in middle of day, the weather was great on the bus ride, bright blus skies all day, when we finally arrived in Nha Trang there was nothing but gales and rain for 3 days!! So we couldnt really do anything we had planned apart from the
mud baths!
The mud baths were great and it actually made it even nicer the fact it was raining, we sat in a bath with hot mud in, then a mineral bath, a hot mineral waterfall and then into the swimming pool which was 38degress, it was absolutely chucking it down most of day but it was still a fantastic day! We topped the day off with a few beers and a the best indian we have ever had!!
We stuck the weather out for a few more days and it eventually brightened up so we spent the next couple of days on the beach topping up the tans!!
The next stop was a overnight train to Danang (Hoi an)..........
