You Want Massage?

Alex says that if he hears the phrase in the title one more time then he will punch someone in the face.
Ahh such diplomacy.
HOWEVER last night we had our free Aromatherapy massages and they were amaaaazing. It was so relaxing and we were massaged all over, even hands and feet! So all in all it was a lovely ending to a day...

The night before last we had our first tropical rainstorm. It was quite funny (Kelly thought it was sad) but there was a wedding that day and the heavens opened-the first time it wasn't sunny! Possibly a sign? I chuckled an evil chuckle. *MWhahahahaha*

There was thunder, lightning and a lot of water. So we stayed inside, mocking the people dressed to the nine's, all wet, whilst we chowed down on room service and a movie :D Woo!

Yesterday we decided to be ever-so adventurous and venture outside the hotel to another beach...
We asked the reception how to get there and we could either get a chartered taxi for about 300 baht (6 pounds) or a 'Songthaw' (sp?) for 1 pound each. We decided to choose the latter for more of an 'adventure'.

For the uncultured among you a 'Songthaw' is a pick up truck with seats on the back with a makeshift roof on top (if you can call it a roof). There is no back to the 'Songthaw' and I (Alex) had many Indiana Jones-esque- visions of jumping off the back onto nearby cars and scooters.

It was all rather exciting and nobody got hurt so happy days for everbody. There are some people who are truly hardcore, whereby they'll just hang on the back. Good times. Good times.

Some more wildlife updates from Kelly! There were some tiny cute little yellow birds in the garden yesterday that were so small they must have been related to hummingbirds. Still no sightings of giant spiders and Kelly hopes the trip will continue in this fashion.

Kelly would also like to add that she got her university results.... Mwahahahaaa.
And has achieved 4 firsts out of 4 modules and a special note of congratulations from her tutor... So would like to take this opportunity to gloat. *gloat*

Alex would like to add that the above is why Kelly has no friends. *points at Kelly and says you have no friends*


Tomorrow we will be departing Koh Samui and returning to Bangkok, and joining our trip guide and group so hopefully this blog is about to get a whole lot more interesting! So watch this space.

By the way we have been getting all the lovely comments thank you Sims and Tuppen family! Kelly has taken all hair tips on board and the green is actually calming down now which is good.

My Dear Kelly and Alex, Really happy to hear ypu are having such a great time . We love hearing about.your exploits and the flora and fauna, and even the mosquito bites, keep the blogs coming.
