Snakes and scorpion wine.... nice
Arrived in Saigon at about 6am after a restless nights sleep. Jacky slept fine but I have taken an instant dislike to sleeper buses, rather than space age they are more like being a cat in a washing machine. This sounds strange but if I was shorter I would have been more comfortable ! (Yes me being shorter !)

Jumped straight on another bus to a kinda mystery Mekon delta tour, did not learn much about the delta itself but went on a big boat, small boat, horse and cart and coach all in one day. Managed a bee farm, odd fruit eating session, poked a python and then the session really got going with traditional vietnamese tunes.

Next day we went to the sights in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) some of the museums were quite hard to stomach considering the war only ended in 1975. Seems odd seeing American tourists wandering through the museum and being welcomed when only 30 years ago they where (Once again) in a war that they shouldn't have been in.

On a brighter note we found an ice cream parlour called Fanny's (snigger) which kept us happy for

Apparantly, ugly isn't it ! Still we ate it (When in Rome etc ...)
hours and tasted of heaven ! Off to Cambodia next, our first border crossing (Can't believe its only been 2 weeks we've been away)
