What happens when you put a load of insane Irish girls in one town and a birthday to be celebrated? ...shit loads of drinking that's what!

Roughly half way down the Vietnamese coast is the quaint town of Hoi An boasting its traditional lifestyle and unspoilt Chinese architecture from the 17th century. Travellers flock here to purchase goods from tailors that produce made-to-measure clothes for a fraction of the western price and to relax in its many quaint cafes along the river edge.

To me this town marks the beginning of my Irish teachings...drinking. By god are they good at it!
Although i was sick as a dog and still deaf in one ear from my Tubbing days in Laos, I got in the spirit of the Irish ways and spent a good few days in Hoi An partying it up in the one and only rickety bar that existed in town. All hail 'King Kong Bar'. Oh how patient they were with us travellers.

I think the pictures tell it all!
