I have definitely lost track of the days and can't certainly tell you whether it's Tuesday or Sunday because other than banks and post offices its 'Same Same.' I had no set plans on arrival, just checking out the beach and enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. I ended up doing all that and more in the few short nights that I was in this beach town. I stayed at Oasis, which was cute and offered views of the beach from some of their rooms.

The municipal beach was decent, yet due to the storms there is a bit of run-off along the entire coast and the water isn't the best at this moment. The sand is a bit rough compared to Hoi An. I ended up at Guava where there were a number of people playing 'Circle of Death'... the version was a blend of each style that all the players were used to so that it was fair for everyone... we played a few games and then we end up going to Sailing Club and the group got even larger and more diverse. In all, the night went well. It was quite easy to meet people while here and I ended up meeting quite a few.. exercising my social butterfly skills!! :)

The next day I decided to rent a motorbike, it was a manual style one... LOL... and travel around a bit and check out a beach about 20km from town that was much nicer than the municipal beach and there were less than a dozen people there. The ride to get there was great and you ride between the shore and mountains. Later that evening I called it a night a bit early.

The next morning was definitely a busy one; beach, mud bath, and a lil partying. Some people from the other night and a few new faces. We ended up at three places that night, Why Not Bar was the last and we shut that down. What to do after a bit of fun and before you have to catch a bus to your next stop, get something to eat! So I went to Mama Thuy's... she's there until daybreak I believe. She has customers all night!

Now off to higher altitude.
