HCMC to Nha Trang

Kind of glad to be away from the chaos of what is Ho Chi Minh City. I spent yesterday wandering around the city, met this thai brother and sister (the brother lives in vietnam now) and went to their house, where i had some vietnamese food that the old lady had cooked. The house was very small on each level but five storeys high. The guy taught me how to play poker + blackjack bcos he is a vip dealer on star cruises, and in the sheraton hotel. He sees a lot of money taht's for sure!
I went and chilled at the guesthouse that i had checked out of, they said i could use the internet and leave my bags there which was very nice of them, and its a safe place so i felt ok doing that. The bus people came and got me from there last night and after getting a few other travellers we boarded the sleeper bus.
It was very interesting!! There were mini bunk beds which each person got, some had this little leg extension compartment but some didnt. I was at the back where there were 5 beds on top and 5 below all in a row. There were two english guys, a norwegian girl and me tucked under there, very cosy! i had the window whcih was good, and there was air con so it worked ok.. It was pretty funny getting used to it, as none of us had been on a sleeper bus before. The guys took valium to go to sleep (which by vietnam standards is probably just a copy ) and we had a couple of stops. A few laughs and z's later we arrived at Nha Trang, at 7:30am.
We got a taxi (about 300m) to the hostel and checked in. The Norwegian girls couldnt get in bcos it was full. I had a (great) shower and free breakfast, then went to book a bus and the beach with an english girl.
Relaxed there (apart from a young boy taking a photo sneakily on his phone until i looked at him and he pretended he was using his phone!) so i moved away. Ate some yummy lunch, bought some bracelets and went for another swim.
Came back to the hostel and met people in my dorm (5 guys - 3 english and 2 aussies) and didnt see any girls..but there are a fair few beds so im sure there will be! Apparently the best thing to do is go out, on a mini pub/bar crawl. So thats my plans for tonight! I will not take anything valuable!
