Mai makes denim bags from recycled new jeans. Two designs are availble. Linings and belts vary. Nominate colour tones and design when ordering and we will try our best to accommodate.
Would you like to support the Lifestart Foundation Workshop initiative in Hoi An, Vietnam? You can help us by ordering some of your Christmas gifts from our makers. The makers will individually make each item with care and love and will be very grateful for your support.
The non-profit workshop focuses on creating handmade arts and crafts to help support those living in challenging situations in Vietnam.
The entire proceeds from these products go directly to the workshop members to provide a sustainable income stream and sense of independence.
I am returning to Vietnam on September 22nd for five weeks.

All products are labour intensive and take each workshop member a long time to make. Each item is tagged with the makers photograph and brief story about them which makes each item very personal and special.
