Well I've had a busy few days....
Went from Mui Ne to Dalat, where I ran into an English guy I had met in Ho Chi Minh City, so I got his email and we said we'd meet up in Nha Trang. So in Dalat I took a motorcycle tour of the country side where I saw coffee plantations, silk making, waterfalls and got to try some rice wine... which could also double as industrial strength cleaner I think.
From Dalat I got a short bus (7 hours.... it has become short to me) to Nha Trang, which will host the 2008 Miss Universe pageant in a month, so I was a month too early, but I don't think Miss Canada would be interested in a dirty backpacker like me anyways. So I met up with the English guy and an Israeli guy he had met in Nha Trang, we took a day boat tour around to some of the islands near Nha Trang, there were 2 guys from Montreal on the tour so thankfully I got to talk some hockey. The tour guide for the boat tour was absolutely crazy also, he set up a floating bar in the ocean and started handing out red wine, which tasted a bit more like gas than wine, but free alcohol is free alcohol. We went out later that night and I met 4 more Canadians, for such a small country we seem to have quite a few travelers around.
So then last night I hopped on a bus to Hoi An (11 hours) with the English guy, not sure if there is a whole lot to do here, but get suits made, but we'll look around and see what there is.
