New building of the Vietnam Television

On Wednesday 7 September 2011 the Inauguration Ceremony of the VTV Program Production Center (VTV means Vietnam Television) was held in Hanoi. At that time the civil works were completed, and the Vietnam Television Center Project was in the stage of equipment installation. Mr. Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, Prime Minster of Vietnam, also went to the site and made a speech at the ceremony. Then all visitors got into the new building and saw modern equipment inside the studios.

It has been 5 years since I worked for the Vietnam Television Center Project. When I first came to the construction site, there was an empty land lot. During construction process, there were various works such as piling work, substructure, superstructure, finishing work and equipment installation. There are 9 studios with modern equipment inside the 5-storey building and the total floor area is 32,100m2. In this stage, the Project uses Japanese ODA loan, so the Japanese Ambassador also attended the event and made a speech at the Inauguration Ceremony.

When I visited the new building, there were two places which impressed me most of all. They were Studio 13 with modern lighting system and the Master Control Room with lots of screens. When I was passing by the rooms and seeing small blue plates with names in both English and Vietnamese which I translated, I felt so proud that I have made a little contribition to the success of this Project. I also got a gift after the ceremony. It was an oil painting of Hanoi's Old Quarter.

At 7pm on 22 January 2012, ie right before the New Year's Eve of Tết 2012 (Vietnamese Lunar New Year), the first VTV News program was on air from the new facility.

The construction works of the hi-rise building (from 6th to 28th floor) will go on in the future. Someday when the 28-storey building is complete, there will be 17 studios with total floor area of approx. 100,000 m2.

Lễ khánh thành Trung tâm sản xuất chương trình của Đài Truyền hình Việt Nam


Ngày 7/9/2011, Đài truyền hình Việt Nam tổ chức Lễ khánh thành tòa nhà làm việc mới của Trung tâm sản xuất chương trình. Thủ tướng Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, Đại sứ Nhật Bản tại Việt Nam và Tổng Giám đốc VTV đã có bài phát biểu trong buổi lễ này. Sau khi cắt băng khánh thành, tòa nhà mở cửa cho mọi người vào thăm quan.

Bước 1 - Giai đoạn 1 của Dự án Trung tâm Truyền hình Việt Nam sử dụng vốn vay ODA của Nhật Bản. Công trình đã trải qua một thời gian dài thi công và lắp đặt thiết bị. Sau khi hoàn thành tòa nhà 5 tầng, tại đây có 9 trường quay với tổng diện tích sàn là 32.100m2. Trong tương lai, toàn bộ tòa nhà 28 tầng sẽ có 17 trường quay và tổng diện tích sàn là khoảng 100.000m2. Công việc thiết kế và thi công tòa nhà cao tầng từ tầng 6 đến tầng 28 sẽ được tiến hành trong thời gian tới.

Tôi đã làm việc tại Dự án Trung tâm Truyền hình Việt Nam trong suốt 5 năm qua. Đây cũng là lần đầu tiên tôi vào thăm quan tòa nhà. Ấn tượng nhất là trường quay số 13 với giàn đèn hiện đại và phòng tổng khống chế với rất nhiều màn hình. Tại một trường quay, tôi gặp cô phát thanh viên Kim Tiến. Ở một phòng khác, anh Bình Minh, Tổng Giám đốc VTV cũng đang trả lời phỏng vấn Đài truyền hình Nhật Bản. Tôi cảm thấy rất vui khi đi ngang qua những căn phòng với tấm biển nhỏ màu xanh ghi bằng tiếng Anh và tiếng Việt mà tôi đã dịch, mặc dù đây cũng chỉ là một sự đóng góp nhỏ bé trong công trình lớn này.

7 giờ tối ngày 22/1/2012, tức đêm giao thừa Tết Nhâm Thìn, bản tin thời sự đầu tiên đã được phát sóng từ đây.
