Thailand!!
It’s such a pleasure to be here after Vietnam. (no horns blaring, no hassle from people at every turn, beautiful clean beaches and genuinely nice people)
Getting to Krabi Thailand from Hanoi was so easy. We just hopped on a flight after one last argument with the taxi driver at the airport who was trying to get us to pay again even though we’d paid at the rank the previous day! (so long Vietnam) and we arrived in Bangkok airport just in time to buy another flight to Krabi.
Krabi is on the Andaman coast, and we stayed on the beatiful Railay Beach which is joined to the mainland but only accessible by boat, so it’s like being on an island and from the pictures you can see it’s a stunning place with lots to do (rock climbing, kayaking, swimming or just chilling). It’s a great little place but there are a couple of new resorts and it’s much pricier than four years ago.
We’ve seen lots of Thailand already on the previous trip four years ago but it was nice to come back here and see how things still are and see things we’d forgot about
and reminisce, so we’re going to spend our time in Thailand in just a few places instead of moving around from place to place.
Enjoy the pictures (p.s we love the Thai food everyday too)

Send Private MessageWhat a romantic setting for a sunset on the beach! My heart was in my mouth when I saw the photos of you two climbing. It did not look very safe to me. Hope you held on tight!
I bet it was the Hurst toe that the rock got!
I agree with Emmas Mum on the rock climbing, but then again you are known as the Monkey Boy. That was some sweet corn you were munching on Emma, I love sweetcorn. The pics look fab as usual. Can't wait to see you both in the flesh though. Love as always Mum and Dad xxxx
No way can that food be as good as the 15 quid all you can eat at the Royal Elephant on a Monday night....i ain't avin' it!!
