Chaweng Beach! We have arrived! Expecting it to be fairly quiet being low season, we were surprised to find that the place is kicking! Although its fair to say that probably 60% of the population is Israeli (sorry Shents . . ). The place has not changed, in fact, there seems to be more clubs and things being built all the time. 28/09/08 Sunday Day 45 Back to the same shite I’m really sorry now that we didn’t stay in Ko Phi Phi longer. Got our taxi anyway from our hotel to the airport which was about 30 minutes away. Checked in, got on our plane and headed for Ko Samui. The airport here is tiny. I have my Birthday celebrations back in Bangkok and get riotously drunk on Chang Beer - you're only 34 once you know... I travel South and spend two glorious days on a raft-house in Khao Sok NP - just chilling out, sun-bathing and swimming in the reservoir. The place was so beautiful I forgot to take any photographs! Ko samui 19th-24th sept 2008 After a plane, bus and boat ride from bangkok we finally arrived at Ko Samui after a 6 and a half hour trip. Tuesday, September 16th, 2008 FINALLY - This vacation is beginning to feel like a VACATION! After an exhaustive 2 weeks of hiking through Thailand and Cambodia, we have finally arrived on the island of Ko Samui in the south of Thailand. 8.00AM Well, we have been on Koh Samui for 4 days now. The first 2 were just lazing around on the beach at Bo Phut Beach.
