PERFECT!!!
AAARRGGGHHH!!!!! How do I cope with such insane perfection and beauty and awesomeness?!?!
It hurts my brain with the joyousness of it all....ahhhh!!!!!!!
okay, let me start over briefly; we went to a little bungalow place outside of Ao Nanag beach when we first arrived and did nothing but relax and craxk open my head for two days; then headed off with a few guys we met there to check out Ao Nang and Railay Beach...Ao Nanag is quite touristy and full of fat swedes walking down the street...we took a ten minute boat around a cove and into a ba, where Railay Beach sits....it's...so....(explitive deleted) incredible. like, holy crap, wow!
here's a little link to a picture that shows about 15% of our view..

we're crashing in a bungalow for about $14 a night, the food is amazing and is about $3 a meal, and the vibe is so amazingly cool. This is apparently one of the Meccas of rockclimbing in the world and all the cliffs around us are fully loaded with bolted rock climbing routes, so everyone around us is totally chilled out rock climbers. there's a great beach bar nearby that has what they call, I think, a slack line, instead of a tight rope. It's about 15 feet long and bouncy and about 2 feet off the ground and everyone was taking turns walking along and doing tricks and stuff (when I say 'everyone' I mean, talented people with good balance and experience n it)....very cool and chill.
Alicen's enjoying it since there are a lot more hot guys wandering around than girls....but the women that are around are unbelieveably hot...apparently rock climbing in the sun is, like, healthy or something, because these people are all really crazy fit.
also, there are monkeys everywhere. we can't leave anything on our porch for fear of monkey thiefs...full families of monkeys are just hanging out on the path up to our room, swinging through trees and power lines.
oh and we only have electricity from 5pm to 9am and there is no hot water...it's awesome!
anyway, moving right along....
today we took the boat back into Ao Nang to do some laundry and a little shoppping. But hopefully we'll just be hanging in Railay for the next several days, since there is no way we're finding a better beach than this.
if any of you are wasting any energy worrying about us rigt now, please do not bother; we are doing very, very well.
Word.
