We lost 2 of our group from Chiang mai when they had return to Oz due to a medical emergency over there so there were 8 of us flying to Phuket yesterday while the other 2 waited for a flight back to Bangkok & onto Brisbane today.Showery but warm in Phuket & a good drive from the airport as the traffic was'nt too bad.We celebrated my birthday at Sabai Sabai, a small restaurant in Soi Post ofice off Beach Rd where the food is delicious.Today we are going on a Hong by starlight tour which picks us up from our resort, Deevana resort & Spa, very nice & central to all the nightlife in Patong but not too close.we have lunch then go out to the bay where the sea caves are, then swim & have a seafood buffet before we are paddled by sea canoe to see the "hongs" by starlight. Sounds lovely.
