Today was the day to explore the north end of Phuket and we all took to our Scooters and made our way up and down hills with amazing views onto the sea as we made our way to Mo Mo beach. We arrived onto the beach with only about 4 other people on the beach, this time we did not have time to lay and relax here as we planned to see as many beaches along this side of the island. After a quick refreshment break we were all back on the road.

Let’s see if we can get on that small island!!!

Whilst driving along the beach front we all saw a small island not far from the main coast line. We parked up and with some funny looks from some locals in a fishing boat we started to walk towards the island. First obstacle was to cross what at first looked like a shallow river, how wrong could we have been. With Tish leading in front we soon become deeper and deeper in water, after reaching above waist height with my rucksack with camera inside held above my head l started to reached the other side. There was then a fantastic walk on virgin white sand were we left our footprints as we headed towards the banks on the island. We all of the group safely across we took time to climb over giant rocks to the far side of the island, once we had got the a awesome view point on some massive rocks it was picture time and time to make our way back. This time crossing the river was a lot easier as after 2 hours on the island the tide had changed and it became a knee deep crossing.

We next drove to another small beach and sat and had a late lunch with a great sunset and music playing in the background. So what started as a trip to see as many beaches in one day soon become 2 beaches and an island, but none of us were disappointed as yet again it turned out to be another fantastic day in paradise.
