We got up and Aidan was feeling much better...woohoo! We made a video for our lovely friends who are getting married, packed up, checked out and left our bags in reception. We then headed into Sairee Village and got some breakfast and Aidan managed to keep it down yay! We had a few hours to kill before we get the transfer from the hotel to the boat so we went for a walk along the beach and stopped at a beach bar for a drink and a bit of chillaxing!
We got our taxi transfer to the pier and once again exchange our boat tickets for a sticker...they lurve the stickers. This time we were on a catamaran. It was a bit choppy at times but we got to Chumphon just fine, the safest boat I've been on yet. At Chumphon we got a bus to the train station but as we had a few hours until our train departed we went and got some dinner and stocked up on water. We got to the station at about 9ish and had no idea what platform our train was etc... We asked a few people but they just nodded. Eventually our train came in and several people helped us and made sure we got on the right carriage of the right train. We had an upper and lower berth on a long corridor of beds and as most people were asleep or tucked away behind their curtains we thought we better do the same so we sorted out our bags, had some yummy banana cake and went to bed.
