Arrived in Koh Tao afer a mission of a bus journey from Bangkok and a calm ferry crossing, all in all taking 15 hours. Toby started his Open Water course that afternoon and Connie did her EFR the following day.

At time of writing this, Toby has just passed his final exam and we have some awesome dives under our belts from lots of different sites from around the island. This morning we saw a turtle and have also seen shoals of baracuda, numerous trigger fish, angel fish, banner fish, yellow boxfish and sweet lips fish... Not bad really!

Tomorrow we are doing a 30m dive which will be our best chance to see a reef shark or two and qualifies Toby to dive to that depth from now on (even though he's only OW) and will be Connie's deepest dive to date.

We spend most nights in restaurants where you eat lying on the floor, drinking beer and watching beautiful sunsets in cloudless skies. Quite relaxing to be honest.

Next stop is Ko Pha-Ngan then onto Ko Samui!
