Normally we wouldn't feel the need to post twice in one day, but the Ko Samui airport has convinced us otherwise.
The whole airport is totally open air - security, baggage, everything. It's like this huge outdoor boutique mall. We're currently sitting in our "terminal", which is basically a huge gazeebo with lushly appointed chairs and couches, free internet and free drinks/snacks. And the planes are landing about 100 yards away. Our flight to Bangkok only cost $60, and we were able to make changes to the itinerary for free (ie. we moved the flight back a day with no hassle whatsoever). So for anyone who thinks that Thailand is an underdeveloped country, keep in mind that their airlines treat you better than Air Canada.
We took some pictures, but it seems as though our camera has become a virus ridden piece of garbage. At least, it starts acting up whenever I attach it to a computer. So there may be no more pictures until we come home. But I would imagine everyone is tired of seeing the same Colin/Anna Kate/Beach pictures anyway.
Cheers,
Colin
PS - We only noticed today that the phone number we posted was wrong. It shouldn't read 80, it should read 08. But Mark and Krystle have the phone anyway, and we won't meet up with them again for another 2 days. But we thought we should let everyone know, for full disclosure.

Would never get tired of seeing your photos! Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Hi again. Now I know why I couldn't reach you by phone!
That's a rather unique airport. No problem hanging around there for a day. Too bad about the camera. & just so you know, we never get tired of your pics.
Love
