Woke at 8am and as quickly as we could, packed up and moved to our new room.
Fortunatley it was ready and waiting for us - so nice to see when we opened the door!
We sorted out our stuff, I gave Di her present (she wasn't expecting it, bless her) then after handing a big bag of washing to our new owner (they do it over here for 40 baht per kilo) we headed straight for the beach - HEAVEN!
Blue sky, the sea lapping up on the shore, soft sand between our toes - and we even managed to get some free sunloungers outside a bar!
After a day of nothing more taxing than walking to the sea, we retired back to our room for a cold shower (you get used to them after a while) and to get ready for Di's big night.
She had read about a mexican restaurant here called Gringo's, so we were gonna treat ourselves to a nice meal then a BNO (big night out).
However after stuffing our faces with nacho's and faijita's (everything is spicy over it - it was beautiful) and drinking a jug of

The balconeyAnd we wonder why people think we're Australian!
Strawberry Margarita's we eneded up feeling too full. We tried to walk it off a bit, but after trying unsuccesfully to have a drink in a bar on the strip, we decided to abort mission and have the BNO tomorrow instead when we wern't feeling as full and could drink.
Two day Birthday for Diane - lucky girl!
