so today I've had THE most exhausting day - breakfast beside the ocean with a warm wind blowing. Then we boarded the local ferry from Ko Samui to Ko Pha-Ngan about an hours trip, that was full of backpackers all sitting on the floors (obviously me and Ange had seats). Then we got a minibus to Coco gardens bunglows on the beach, run by a Lad from Jersey - the most chilled place ever. Lots of cushions to lay out on, beach bar (i'm still on Liptons lemon tea !!)

so after we booked in - basiclay all day weve - lounged on pillows, swung on hammocks, turned over a few times, applied sun lotion oh yeah and the most strenuous thing today was turning over the pages of my book !

The place is fabulous but weve been told its not the best beach on the island so tomorrow weve booked a trip to take us all around it, with elephant riding, a waterfall visit and snorkelling, so we'll see what we find tomorrow.

spent a couple of hours tonight at a bar with some of the local working girls, gorgious girls, one was telling us her mother sent her sister and herself down from north Thailand to work so they can sent money home......... it breaks my heart to see them. Eventhough theyre so lovely and smiley and always laughing.

off to bobo's now - well it is almost 11pm !!!

A unified Thai kingdom was established in the mid-14th century. Known as Siam until 1939, Thailand is the only Southeast Asian country never to have been taken over by a European power. A bloodless revolution in 1932 led to a constitutional monarchy....more info
