We'd had enough of Koh Phi Phi Don and we're craving a bit more of an authentic Thai Island experience. Took the boat to Koh Lanta.....1.5h South of Phi Phi. Biggest Island in Thailand........

Dinner later that night...
At the 'Funky Fish' with a Ladyboy waiter-ess and some really crap live music...(see video)
John getting into it.....
Ooooooh yeaaahhhhh . Nothin' like a crap duo from Turkey singing cheesy 80's tunes in English - a language they don't speak (nor dominate in any sense of the word!!)
I'm full....

A Time for Lime
Met loads of mad Expats - one of which, Belgian 'Juney' ran a cooking school/bungalow rental/homeless dog shelter..... So whilst John was laid up with Tiger's Balm patches stuck to his sore shoulder r... [more]

So, she 'rescues' the dogs from the street (thing is ALL Thai dogs are 'homeless' and are fed by the people. So, question is: are they any better off in cages? Apparently they are walked loads each da... [more]

There were about 5-6 that actually seemed to live there and wandered around freely.....

Very sassy deco
The deco was great and the place looked like it'd have great food so we decided to return later that night to try it.........
Let's face it the woman has style....
Later that night when we went back (via Tuk-Tuk - motorbike stayed put!) we read that the owner, Juney, was some sort of Graphic Designer - hence the sassy layout and design of the place. Unfortunatel... [more]
Yeah, well....
Sounds simple but that meant taking a bus which would cross over via ferry to Koh Lanta (small one) and then again cross over via ferry to the mainland and then drie for another 60 km to get to Krabi ... [more]
This sucks....
Little did our travel agent tell us that the so-called 'VIP aircon bus' was to be jammed packed full of other passengers (and we were the last to be picked - up = shittiest seats) and not exactly one ... [more]
