A lahu faluban is volt lufizas, az uccso napon, a tanfolyam felhozta erzelmi,tudati haborgas elengedesere... nem birok leszakadni a temarol, boccs, annyira tetszik ez a lufizas, ahogy a gondolat, ohaj, es a tuz egyutt elindul a levegobe, gyonyoru. Day 10 to 16 (17th to 23rd March) So I have made it up in to the mountains (and mostly back down again) of North Eastern Thailand and apart from one unforgivable climb it has been great fun. Have been in some real backwater places and have had to plan my water and rest stops a bit better - coke selling stalls are no longer spaced within view of each other. I have also now frequented most forms of public transport (including being mounted on the back of motorbike for a hospital trip - no need to panic mum, just read on!) and can report that the bicycle is by far the best! 27/06/06 We hired a Jeep and headed East for Loei, after seeing a photo in an in-flight magazine of the Phi Ta Kohn festival. Drove for 10 hours, through winding forest hills with one eye on the fuel gauge and one on the winding turns ahead. Had to stop at one roadside police station for directions to a resort. The police asked me - the obvious driver - to join them for a quick beer. I couldn’t get my UK head off and my Thai head on quick enough to accept a beer from Police whilst driving so declined their generous offer and headed off.
