Jungle Trek

Hello all,
Just got back from our Jungle Trek in Northern Thailand and it was such an amazing experience, so glad we didn't just stick to the beaches. Our guide, Simon took us on about 3 hour treks everyday further and further into the jungle and we stayed overnight at different hill tribe villages. We went on the trek with the 3 canadians we met in Ayuttahaya, a British fellow and a Fench couple. It was so tropical, but extremely hot!!! Every time we made it to the end of the trek each day we wer so relived just to relax. The first night we stayed with a tribe called the "white karen" tribe and the second night we stayed at this amazinf waterfall overnight. Today we went on bamboo rafting and rode on elephants; haha our raft tipped over and we were all hanging onto the edge of the raft trying to hold on. The other half of our group were on a separate raft and they lost the thai guy who was steering the raft.. he fell off!! Also one of the canadians on our raft who was helping steer fell off and smashed his hip on the rocks and thought he may have broken it!!! I have been eaten alive by every possible bug in thailand, they seem to love me for some reason, where as alyssa has only been bitten like 3 times, I also got stung by a jungle wasp... which may I add hurts more than a regular wasp. Our group also got chased by bulls on the trek, played with the cutest village dogs ever (later we were told to watch our for fleas), seen tarantulas and other poisonous spiders and scorpions. Tomorrow we are flying down the Koh Samui

p.s there has been a few instances of bank accounts being drained by different organizations (possibly travel agents in thailand) we have checked ours and so far so good.
