Nothing too flashy the last 2 days. I did finally rent a moped to tool around town which has been real convenient. It only costs $5/day which is the price of a few tuk tuk rides so definitely worth it. Because all driving is done on the left, I just have to think like George Kastanza, whatever I think is right, do the opposite. Need to make sure I get a pic of me on the hog before I turn the keys in.
Met a few more fellow travelers, a couple from Canada and a girl who works for the Peace Corps in DC. She travels to country's to train foreign aid workers which seemed like a good way to check out some different developing/undeveloped countries. She is from a town near Defiance where Kaitlin is, Edon??
They have some huge night bazzares here in Chaing Mai the last couple of days so I picked up some costly souveigners again for family. Anyway, I had planned to do some thai boxing classes, but I was pretty worn down from the treking plus I didn't really want to hurt anybody over here, so I bagged it.
It has been nice to relax, people watch, and tool around some of the stores here. My flight leaves tomorrow afternoon for Phuket which is in the Andaman Sea. I am staying at a resort there, so should be an improvement from this flea bag guest house.
