Hi everybody,
I got some worried emails about my safety, but fear not, I am alive and very well.
Those of you who want to see pictures of me (Cynthia) you can just look on Natalies page on this web page. Her name is Nananatalie. Just look up under bloggers: N, and youll get to see plenty of me.
Since youll be reading those theres no need for me to re-iterate all our adventures, but I did have to tell one. All my life wishes have been fulfilled on this trip. I TOUCHED A MONKEY!!!! I cant believe how happy it made me. And not just one but many at once. I should say, they touched me and I just let them but lets not get into details. Theres pictures of it up on Natalies page.
Today I took a day trip to Laos, and got masacared by mosquitos. Tommorow I take a day trip to Burma, so Natalie can get her visa run, and I get a new stamp on my passport.
I have been eating lots of exotic foods, and northern thailand is so beautiful. I cant believe people are lucky enough to live here. I am also learning some thai. Just enough to say hello, goodbye, thank-you. And most importantly: may prick. (NO SPICY PEPPER) I can order a meal very easily now.
In two days I go to Chang Mai to embark on my three day trek through the jungle. I cant believe Im surrounded by jungle. There are tree leaves so big here you can wrap them around you like a blanket. I LOVE NATURE!!!!
This will probably be it untill I reach Chang Mai, hold tight till then.
