Hello,
It is so much easier to write this blog when I do it more frequently so sorry you might get a lot of emails.
So I have started TAJ(Thailand after Jeff), and so far it's been pretty much the same. Very relaxing. I am feeling better but it is still hard for me to eat a lot, and I'm scared it will happen again. I'm sure I'll get over it. The old Tasha will kick in soon enough. Okay so I moved from our lovely hotel to a guesthouse that was recommended to me. It is nice, it is hard to go from luxury to plain. The great thing about it is it actually has a HOT shower. The hotel barely had that. So anyways I moved. Later I got a massage at a place that was also recommended to me. This place was beautiful, I'm smiling as I'm writing this right now because something happend there. The Thai lady got to second base with me! At least what I think is second base(not sure what the bases are anymore). I was VERY surprised! Maybe some how she knew my boyfriend left(sorry Dad). After it was over I told her she needed to buy me a drink, she said "why I already got the milk for free." Just kidding! There is no way she could understand all that english. Well I said I wanted new experiences and I got one! After that I walked around a ton. I came to some realizations: Chiang Mai is San Francisco, Bangkok is Los Angeles, and Pai is Tahoe and the Mission district's love child. Chiang Mai seems big, but it is actually quite small the more you explore it. So I walked a lot, got to know the city better. I met some women in my guest house who have both been here awhile. One of them asked me if I wanted to go to underground, illegal belly dancing lesson on Saturday. I was really happy to tell her I already had plans to go rock climbing. It would be just my luck that I would get arrested in Thailand for belly dancing. I'm not even a good dancer. Not sure if it really would make a difference if I was a good dancer, but luckily I had an excuse instead of having to say, "I'm afraid." Late I fell asleep reading New Moon(my new obsession).
Today was a very western day for me. I woke up, had breakfast for 2 hours, and called my sister. I was at no means having a bad day but talking to her really brightened it up. I decided to go to dentist. Apparently they are very good in Chiang Mai and cheaper then the states, even with insurance. I love how instantly gratifide you can be in Thailand. I walked in and an hour later came out with a teeth cleaning and whitening. They look really nice and the price was great! After that I headed for the mall to hunt down my obsessions predacecers(Twilight series-for those of you who are not in the know). Sold out every where except my fifth attempt where they were hiding them in the back. My heart was relieved. I'm going to Laos soon and everyone keeps telling me you should have a few good books traveling there. I was so sad to think I couldn't continue the series right away. So this is basically the end of my boring but fun day. Today is the King's bday so there will be fireworks and a celebration. Tomorrow is rock climbing, which I am so excited about, and then I may be finished with Chaing Mai...maybe=)
