for the children in our hut
hi evryone. am back safe and well from the trek now. but again, i will start wer i left you!

so on the night after getting soakd, we went to the night market. me and shelley had an ace time buying crap that we couldnt carry! haha. i got a ring, it was suppose to be 400bah but i got it to 230, well impressed with my barteting skills! i got some braclets and some other little things. wer going back there tonight. thnik im gonna have to send some things home, i cant stop buying, its so damn cheeep! haha. as we wer walking round the market, i caught my foot on a stall. i didnt think anything of it, looked down and my foot was pouring with blood. so i had to find a chemist and get it cleand up, it was the smallest cut.(but i went to hospital neway bad boy cos i alwasy over react) lol. just kidding, i didnt go to hospital. neway...i was hungry so me n shelley went to subway, i was well looking forward to my usual, chicken with extra cheese, with the cheese melted on the chicken, not toasted! but you

try explaingng that to someone who doesnt talk any english. so i came back with a cold sandiwch with no extra cheese not even cut in half, wasnt impressed! althow it was ncie neway! hah.

after the market just went back to hotel to catch up on sleep as we wer up early to go trekkinggg!
so we woke up and headed down stairs for 8ish and met our trekking guide, his name was can. he was cool. and our 2 tribe men who carried all our water, super man and super boy.so we got a 'taxi' to this elephant place. wer we rode them, but not like b4, we wer sat on a chair thing this time, wasnt as good, but still had laods of fun. there was this little baby elephant, he was so cheeky! haha. he kept wanting banannas all the time. soo cute! our elephant kept putting its trunk up for banannas but as he did that, he spat at us aswell, was really minging! but funny. after we did that, we went to a small place, with just a tap, and ate noodles in the midle of the jungle out of a cool tub,

lol. random i know! then we headed on our trek. it was sooo hard! the first day was mainly up hill, i was pooped! had a fair few stops but kept at it, cos im hardcore! it was amazing, we wer trekking with one side water and the other side a huge drop we wer just on a litle ledge, so if you slipped youd be hurt baddd. i was walking behind shelley and a branch got stcuk to her bag, i didnt realise and kept walking, and as it got loose, it smacked me in my face, it was funny. :-)we wer all fine and all made it. we had to walk threw rice paddoks aswell, wich was cool. so we finally arrived at our hut. we didnt stay witht he tribes on the 1st night, just a random hut in the middle of nower. it was well cute thow. the toilet was a squat again, so not luxorious, but i didnt espect anything less! getting use 2 squatting now. hah! we went to the river to wash, it was cold but nice. we all slept in the same hut wich was fun. dave fell and landed on shelleys

head, wich was quite musing and we ahd some random conversations about pork and forks. hum. dont ask! we woke up and got breakfast (egg on toast) it was lovely. then we started trekking again for 2 and half hours. not as uphill as the day before so was not as bad but still tiering. we arrived at the tribe village at about 11.30 all tired and muddy. we just sat about and played card games or abit then went to the hut and messed about wrote in diarys ect.can showd us round the village, i crushed rice with this big thing, lol. there was about 400 people in the tribe, it was awsome. all houses made of huts. it was lovely and unreal that people actually lived like that. then it was time for tea, all veggie stuff, was lgood thow, i got full! after tea, all the tribe children came into our hut. they wer soo cute! there was loads of them about 40. haha. they all introduced themselfs in engliah. then we had to introuduce ourself in thai, and wen we said our names, they all shouted them reaslly loud, it was ace. they sang to us

some nursery rhyms in thai, it was soo cute. there was a little lad at the front who kept shouting really loud, theres always one! hhaha. so they did there bit, had us dancing about and stuff, then we had to sing to them. we sang incy wincy spider, wheels on the bus and hokie kokie. what a laugh! it was ace. i felt real alive, lol. then we saw a massive spider int eh corner of the hut so jack had to come to the rescue as wer all wimps! haha. when wed finishd singign and stuff we handed out sweets and crisps and stuff to the children. they all shook our hands and sid thanx, it was really nice. i loved evry bit of it!
after they left we sat outside and drank hot chocolate and talked. went to be about 10.00pm. i slept better this night than i didthe night before, think the trekking took it out of me! woke up at 7.30am for breakfast, eggy bread! yaya mandy, lol. then started trekking again. for another 3 hours. but it was mostly down hil an flat so was alright. stopped a few times for fruit and drink. had lunch at a local resteraunt, rice again, suprise suprise! i was soo dirty wen i got back, couldnt wait for a proper shower. it was lovely!
