Wow what a wonderful place a must do for our family in March, Lek sounds amazing what a difference one person can make! Thank you Reet for your fanatastic reports and wonderful pictures, never think they are too long personally I could read pages of your adventures, it is making me soooooooo excited! Mammoth contribution.
This is a great blog entry, Reet. Thanks for sharing - we will make a point of going there next time we hit Chiang Mai. Make sure you get a trek in - you can find guides who will keep you away from the "touristy" hilltribe villages ... though it does involve a bit of a slog :o( Have fun!

Thanks Reet
Hi Reet That is the saddest story, especially about the blind one. The baby elephants are pretty cute, even if they do weigh 250kg. Your photos are brilliant Luv Lee xx
