Well the last couple of days have been a an emotional rollercoaster for me but before that allow me to share some photos. First the apology Sorry for my lateness and the lack of the second Chiang Mai report, its really difficult to keep this up to date with where I am and what I'm doing -so I've made the executive decision to go bac and finish when I get time. na, a mai nap közel sem sikerült oly tökéletesre, mint a tegnapi, viszont mulatságos volt, meg tanulságos. reggel olyasmi hangra ébredtünk, mintha vki szőnyeget porolna, ütemes pufogás, aztán kiderült, hogy a mellettünk lakó francia pár kókuszdiót próbált felnyitni..:)végül sikerült nekik, így kókusztejjel indítottuk a napot, ami annyira nem finom azért. reggeli után felkerekedtünk, hogy megnézzünk egyet a szíget híres vízesései közül, meg eleféntokat nézzünk, mert azok is vannak. a közelben volt egy hely, de ide 400 bht lett volna a belépő, gondoltuk mi megyünk inkább az ingyenesbe [View Full Entry]

Well i'm now in Ko Chang and was going to write this straight after my Bangkok blog. However exhaustion took other and i need to go eat. Just before i wrote my last blog the Estonian girl, Helen, who i've been rooming with walked in and handed me my bumbag. Contents, one British passport with thai 30 day tourist visa, ipod, approximately 50GBP, yellow fever cetificate, leads to connect camera to computer (still have my battered compact digi to record my adventures) and police report re. my sadly stolen and much missed Fujifilm S5800. Dear All Sorry for the delay. Although there are loads of internet shops around I can't always access this site or download photos. Also we're both being very lazy and it's much nicer to lie on the beach than sit in an internet shop! Anyway, back to the blog.....We left Ko Samet and we were a bit sorry to leave apart from the awful mosiqutoes and mange dogs. There was one final stop on our journey, before heading home to Melbourne. We thought we'd spend our last few days on a beach in Thailand... which was lucky because we were still recovering from our bout of food poisoning. All over the island of Koh Chang there are adverts for Elephant trekking. Today I decided to do one - the full one with 'elephant swimming' I had no idea what this part would entail. But would be pleasently surprised. The elephant crew came to pick me up midday, they chucked me in the back of a pickup and we were off. Soon as I got there, there was an Elephant waiting for me as well as a little guide. My Elephant was a 29 year old lady. The day after the elephant trek we decided we would rent a moped out and travel around the island. The place is seriously beautiful. Ended up in a fishing village that had shops on the water and even sold doughnuts!! As usual when we rent motorbikes we ran out of petrol and were stranded on the road side. Walked to a guys house who wouldnt hear of giving me directions to get some gas. He jumped on his motorbike and took me to the garage and then back to the bike.
