Waterfalls and three Thai brothers

Soo...

Today after breakfast we headed out to see some waterfalls. The first one was on the same side as our hostel (west) and was awesome! A fun little slippery hike in. Danielle had one funny spill. When we walked in 2 men had the same elbow injury from slipping on the rocks. We were like 2 little careful grannys after that.

The waterfall was huge and ended in a little swimming hole. It was nice and relaxing.

We headed out to catch a taxi East. When they stopped they asked for 800 baht (like 24 bucks) so we declined and said we'd find another way. Suddenly, a truck pulled over and asked if we needed a ride. There were 3 guys and don't worry Mom I heard your voice saying NO!

But, they seemed super friendly so we jumped in. He spoke a little English and the 2 other guys were his brothers. They were from Bangkok and were on a mission taking pictures for an Information Tourist spot!! JACKPOT!!

So, we hit up White Sand Beach.. It was amazing.. There was no one else in sight and it was fun jumping in the waves. The best beach I've ever seen in my life.

On the drive down it was crazy steep (Hill of Chips has nothing on this) and we were in a standard truck. On the way up he stalled out and it was a bit nuts. We all jumped out and he had to back up to try it again solo... He made it and we hiked our way out.

Next, they were going to the other waterfall we originally wanted to go see. So, we kept on going with them. This one was not as impressive but still gorgeous.

They offered to take us back to our hostel b/c we were 'new friends' in their words. It was great except we forgot the crazy steep windy hills and it was too late once they started down. We jumped out and wished them the best.. We felt really bad and are hoping they made out ok.

Thai ppl are super nice!! We all exchanged emails and took pics to remember our crazy adventure.

Going to get another massage, then hitting a bar down the beach for a few..
