Spent three nights in Bangkok, very hot, very smelly and very busy

Went for our first tuk tuk ride which was an adventure and only cost us about NZ$2

Visited the Royal Palace which was very impressive and the temple of the Emerald Buddha, had to borrow a beautiful shirt to wear as I was not covered up enough to get in otherwise!

Spent a lot of time wandering around Khao San road area which was very busy and very touristy, where you can pick up almost anything that you want at a roadside stall for as little as you can barter for it!
