WHAT A NIGHTMARE...an early start for me and Kim so we would be at Koh San Road for 8am, we told the TukTuk driver to be as reckless as he wanted to get us there on time, and in all fairness we was there with time to spare. Even though we was told to be there early the coach was late, this seems to be the way with Thais, very laid back, but i can adjust to this. We finally got settled on our coach which look like it had been on pimp my ride but had a/c so was very grateful. After only 1hr of travelling we made a pit stop, which was fair enough but after another 30mins we made another stop??? The coach drive thought it was the perfect opportunity to fix his car speakers at the side of the road, he was in an no rush? We did have some irrate travellers who had a few words but the driver wasnt phased and we continued our journey another 30mins later. 10mins later we stop again?? This time the a/c was broken, I reckon this snapped some of the passangers and the coach driver had enough and
through our luggage off the coach and hailed us down another coach. So we all piled on this other Thai coach with no seats but a/c. 4 hrs later everything seemed to be going fine until one of the tired popped and we were stranded in the middle of know where nowhere near to where we needed to be for the ferry. Luckily enough a bit of hitch hiking pulled us a pick up truck where I felt happy to trying real Thai culture whilst riding in the boot trying to hold the luggage down while he drived like there was no tommorow. Amazing with only a wind swept look we made it to port with minutes to spare for the last boat to Koh Chang!! 10 of us piled into a 6man taxi, so this meant holdin on to the back for dear life as he went through the bumpy roads up and down mountains. It was an adventure but not one Im wanting to reaccure too soon.
Koh Chang is amazing and our hut is right on the beach for only 200b which is around 1.50pound. We have met some real nice people after the ordeal and
picking up ideas on where to head next. We have spent today literally on the beach soaking in the sun. We arent too sure of where to head to next but i reckon a couple of days relaxing here is on the cards. It seems unreal how nice this place really is, one of the guys we have met has been travelling for 7yrs straight and only spent 14k so not too sure when you will see me again if that is possible. I am though being eaten alive!!!
THe bar/eating area here hangs over the see and you have to sit on the floor and you are surrounded by cats, but not mangey cats! This is definatley a different culture to Bangkok and one I can definatley get use to.
I dont know when I will next update you on my where abouts. But please still email!!! Missing you all...abit.

Typical Thais! Doing everything at their own pace, initially a a strange factor to get your head around after living in London all your life, but trust me, it doesn't take long before you adjust to the simplistic, lathargic lifestyle that Thailand has to offer. Kho Chang looks amazing, Jay and i are green with envy looking at your pictures. Keep blogging.... i seem to be the only one writing back? Does that reflect my lack of life? Haha! Tip number 2: Samsong is the devil - drink it slowly and in moderation otherwise you will have a hangover like never before! Buckets are the way forward!!much love xx
