Arrival!!!

I have arrived in Bangkok after a reasonably uneventful flight which included possibly the most obnoxious and rude couple I have ever meet who decided that they wanted to sit in my seat and refused to move even with the airline staff asking them, they then during the flight decided that they didn't like my hand luggage being in the same overhead commpartment as theirs and kindly moved it to another without even asking! Anyway after getting into the airport and baggage reclaim I met a young lady called chrissy with whom I shared a cab into the city proper and it turned out that we were staying on the same road so a handy start to my journey. After being dropped off by the cab I then proceeded to get lost trying to find my hotel,had some strange french man taking photos of me! and after an hour of walking around alleys and roads I then had a little thai man in a tuk tuk calling me "pretty lady" which was strange a little odd til I realised he was refering to my leg tattoo :-) and he then took me on a slightly hair raising ride to me hotel! Then it was catch up on sleep time before dinner and drinks with Chrissy which turned into an eventful night meeting some lovely people and getting drunk and getting up on stage in a bar to sing with a guitarist which as much fun as it was, was terrifying to doo with no words! Even wierder was the fact that Slim found me by hearing me singing down the road! Suffice to say he joined in the revelry and a good night was had. Pretty similar shenanigans the following evening and I now sit here with an amazing thunderstorm going on outside so i'll sign off and hopefully have something more entertaining to say next time
