Awake at 5am, already 30+ degrees for the day of travel. We got in the pickup's to head to the port on Koh Phangan where once again I ran into Angus and Emily out of complete chance for the thrid time in 2 days (it has happened again twice subsequently in Bangkok).

We took the catamaran North, stopping off at all the major islands on a journey of around 4 hours in comfort as we went for the "Special VIP section" for 200B (about £3.50). We arrived at the mainland, somewhere up the Eastern coast to await our coach. Being as it was by this point nearing 40degrees A few of us went for a quick swim in the sea by the coach station (see pictures) in water which would be too hot if it were a bath. 10 hours and a very uncomfortable coach journey later (the seats were designed for tiny thai people) we arrived back in Bangkok, a strange feeling of deja vu after a month away.

Just time for a few parting drinks before most people were off to the airport, I booked my next two nights and headed out with a few of my old tour guides who were in the area... Once again bumping into Angus. My flight is this evening, just finished my online check in and off to find somewhere with a printer for my boarding pass (apparently they are something of a rareity). Next stop, Sydney.
