We flew to Bangkok today and had a great flight - it arrived early for a change. We checked into the Pathumwan Princess Hotel just after lunch. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the hotel is, although prices for laundry, internet and even food are expensive. The big bonus is that we are right next to MBK - 7 floors of shopping paradise. You should have seen Mum and Pam's eyes light up. We went shopping for a couple of ours before we had dinner on the LayNoya - a beautiful old boat. It was lovely seeing all of the old buildings along the river. The weather was beautiful and the food was great.
